Sharine Taylor (she/her/hers) is an award-winning music and culture writer/critic and filmmaker, as well as the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of BASHY Magazine. Sharine is currently based in toronto (contemporary Toronto is on the ancestral land of the wendake-nionwentsïo, Mississauga, Mississauga of the credit first nation, anishinabewaki and haudenosaunee people).
She’s an alumna of VICE’s 2017 editorial internship program, Allied Media Conference’s 2018 Movement Journalism mentorship program, and was awarded the 2019 Magazine’s Canada fellowship where she fulfilled her term as the Assistant Web Editor at Azure Magazine.
