VP Records: The House That Reggae Built

Assignment

To kick off the year-long celebration of VP Records’ 40th year of business in the U.S., VP Records returns to its homeland of Jamaica for a star-studded event titled Strictly The Best – LIVE Montego Bay. In addition, there will be exclusive access to A Reggae Music Journey, a historical exhibit of VP Records, which will be featured at Montego Bay’s Donald Sangster Airport. For Complex (UK), I interviewed VP Records’ current president, Randy Chin, about the label’s legacy and profiled the company.
