breakin’ cycles

PROJECT BRIEF

Curated and organized a group exhibition.

DELIVERY

A recipient of the University of Toronto (Scarborough)'s inaugural Arts, Culture and Media's Equity and Diversity in the Arts award, I was given funding to curate a group exhibition for BIWOC called “breakin' cycles.” Presented alongside the school’s publication (The Underground) and a now-defunct art collective (ENUF), the exhibition invited its artist to use their artwork to explore themes of generational traditions, mental health, sexuality immigration, defining and redefining womanhood, and how these intersect with socioeconomic barriers.

DATE OF DELIVERY

April 2016.
